By using this website you agree to the terms and conditions set down on this page and you should therefore read these conditions thoroughly before using this website or purchasing from it. Northants Koi reserve the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time as and when we see fit or need and by your use of our website you are bound therefore to any revisions made. We advise you to visit this page periodically to review the current terms and conditions you are bound to through your use of our website.
Sales & Transactions
Sales and transactions made via our website or through our store that are processed through Paypal are done so with the security offered by PayPal and as such PayPal and Northants Koi do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties. We reserve the right to alter or amend prices and delivery costs at any time on the website which will not affect purchases already made where payment has been cleared.
We do not store or record delivery addresses ??? these are provided to use through transactions made through our website and are only used for the purpose for which they were provided.
Any faults discovered by a customer of Northants koi following a purchase should be taken up with the manufacturer of the product to seek advice on fixing the fault or returning the product for replacement and the warranty or guarantee of any product sold by Northants koi is done so under the terms and conditions set down by the manufacturer of the product. Northants Koi is committed to a high standard of customer service and to ensuring as far as possible that the customer is supported in this eventuality.
Northants Koi does not accept any liability or responsibility for any losses caused by damaged or faulty products or items. Northants Koi do not accept any liability or losses caused by delays in delivery or as a result of service provided by couriers or companies independent of Northants Koi nor do we accept responsibility in the unlikely event that a delivery does not arrive involving third party contractors.
Delivery Policy
All items and products are as far as possible thoroughly checked to ensure they leave our premises in excellent condition. We do not knowingly process products or items that leave our premises in a faulty or damaged condition. We advise customers however to check their purchases immediately on delivery to ensure that no damage has occurred in transit and any damage should be recorded as such on the delivery note to enable any discussions regarding this. If the delivery note has not been amended then Northants Koi will assume that the damage was done after the product was delivered and thus accept no responsibility.
Northants Koi aim to process deliveries the day the transaction has taken place and will use APC for delivery of Koi and other companies for dry goods. At busy times orders may take 2-3 working days to be processed. Customers may use the facilities on our website to track their order. Delivery costs are calculated on the total weight of the order and Northants Koi do not attempt to make a profit on the delivery of purchases, nor do we request a minimum order from our customers via our website.
It is usual for the companies we use for deliveries to attempt to deliver a purchase on two occasions after which they will usually leave a card with the details of the local depot they have returned it to for you to collect. There is facility through the ordering process to leave specific instructions for the delivery company.
Returns & Cancellations
In the event that a customer of Northants Koi wishes to return a product they are dissatisfied with discussion with Northants Koi must take place before the return. Contact can be made via email or telephone or by appointment to our premises. Once a return has been agreed the return must be returned within 5 days of the agreement taking place unless otherwise agreed by Northants Koi.
A purchase can be cancelled any time up until the point of shipping at which point Northants Koi cannot cancel an order; however cancelled orders will be subject to a 2% charge which will be deducted from the total refunded to the customer. Goods cannot be returned for credit.
Pet Licence
Northants Koi takes fish and koi health very seriously and follows very strict quarantine procedures to ensure that the koi we supply are in good health and excellent condition. As we are dealing with livestock it is not reasonable to expect that we can guarantee the health or lifespan of a koi which has left our premises we will not knowingly sell any koi we believe to have a health issue to a customer. We do our very best to ensure that the koi we sell are in good health.
We operate in addition to the quarantine procedures set out in our Koi pages and under the terms and conditions of our Pet Licence.
